In august 2013, Qatar Airways and FC Barcelona announced in Barcelona the sponsorship agreement with the slogan “A team that unites the world”. The goals where the following ones: (1) To transmit the shared values of both institutions, (2) to present Qatar Airways’ commitment for Barcelona and (3) To achieve the maximum coverage at national and international levels. Arenalia worked together with the airline and the soccer club to organize an event that had two parts: a press conference in the morning to notify all the details of the agreement and an event in the evening that took place in Camp Nou and was focused towards opinion leaders, mainly from Barcelona.
With this double action, 508 articles were achieved, a ROI of 6 million euros and an audience of 169 million.
