Mobile World Centre

Mobile World Centre Espacio Movistar is the first permanent exhibition and interactive space featuring the world of mobile technology. Since February 15th of 2003, it allows the public to get to see and experience the latest developments in this field. Thanks to this space, the Mobile World Capital Barcelona (MWCB) offers citizens a pioneering gateway to the world of mobile solutions, whilst giving companies a unique exchange platform where they can interact with users.

With the goal of presenting the new space to society, create expectation before the opening and build reputation and recognition of the project, we worked closely with Mobile World Capital to develop a communication plan that guaranteed a “crescendo” to create expectative towards the inauguration of the center. 

The communication plan was designed to ensure coverage before the opening and to create a positive state of mind among the public opinion before the opening. Furthermore, we also developed a strategy designed to ensure international coverage. The coverage achieved was great both in Catalan and Spanish media and International media: 406 impacts, an audience of 340 million and a ROI of over 4.7 million euros.
